The Brave and the Brilliant

Vancouver Convention Centre

The Vancouver Convention Centre offers both scale and intimacy. At its heart is a soaring space where TED's stage designers create a custom theater designed to maximize the impact of talks, permitting multiple configurations for sitting, listening, conversations, exploration of new ideas and connecting with speakers — a bold rethinking of the conference experience.

Outside the theater, the focus is on beautiful spaces for connections, conversations and diving deeper into ideas through exhibits, workshops and experiences.

How the application
process works

The apply button will prompt you to log into your existing TED.com account or create a new account (this part is free).

Once you’ve verified your account (for new accounts only), you’ll answer several questions that help us understand a bit more about you. This includes optional demographic questions that help us grow the community thoughtfully. You’re welcome to complete the application in multiple sittings — your partially completed application will be saved to your account.
