Vanguard Membership
In order to make TED accessible to as many people as possible, early-career individuals who have never attended TED are invited to apply for this heavily subsidized conference membership and join us in Vancouver for a week of unforgettable experiences as we celebrate creativity, ingenuity, courage, wisdom, and generosity.
Vanguard applications are subject to especially stringent review and approval process; not all Vanguard applicants will be selected, as passes for this membership type are very limited in number.

A keystone of your week at TED, Discovery Sessions are expert-led workshops and experiences that take you outside of the theater and into the topics and experiences you most want to explore. We take as much care with Discovery Sessions as we do TED Talks — and you won't want to miss this year's offerings.
All-encompassing dining with no added fees
Brace yourself for a week filled with mouthwatering moments, from the epic welcome party to the tantalizing Dine Around dinners. Thursday's celebration will leave your taste buds tingling, and the grand finale awaits at the farewell picnic lunch on Friday afternoon. Plus, there'll be plenty of snacks and the best local coffee bars around.
Dine Around dinners
Tuesday evening’s Dine Around dinners offer an opportunity to make intimate connections at foodie destinations around Vancouver. You’ll choose your Dine Around dinner by the topic of your choice a few weeks before the conference kicks off. We often hear from attendees that these dinners are the highlight of their week at TED and that the lightly guided topics make for excellent conversation.
