This is the moment the world decides

The question of our democratic future is more urgent, complex, and exciting than ever. In the next year alone, around 2 billion people from every corner of the globe are expected to head to the polls.

The TED Democracy initiative is proud to present an invitation-only one-and-a-half-day program in the TED Theatre in New York City featuring big thinkers and civic leaders who are protecting and reimagining our democracies today.

This event will showcase democracy experts and trailblazers who are advancing specific solutions for reform, dreaming big about structural change, and showing what it takes to revitalize our civic culture.

Speakers

Democracy is bigger than any one country or one story. We’ll journey across the political spectrum and across generations to uncover the strategies, tactics, and possibilities of our common future.
