Program Special events
Immersive evening events, interactive lunches, intense conversation breaks … at TEDIndia, many of the most important ideas are generated when people connect with each other. We offer many ways to make sure they do.
Familiarize yourself with Mysore and southern India by joining one of our pre-conference excursions, including guided tours of historical Mysore sites, like the dramatic Mysore Palace, now a museum; Brindavan Gardens, with its botanical displays and spectacular fountains; the Chamundeshwari Temple; and the UN World Heritage Site of Hampi.
Wednesday, November 4, 8am-2pm

Attendees at every TED are as extraordinary as the speakers. At TED University, they have their chance to take the stage and give their own short talks or performances. Past topics have ranged from "5 dangerous things you should let your kids do" to "How to grow your own fresh air" (from TED U 2009 speaker Kamal Meattle, above.)
Wednesday, November 4, and Thursday, November 5
