Places are available at TEDActive, our Palm Springs simulcast experience, featuring all the mainstage content from TED2010 alongside on-site speakers, performances and activities in an intimate, immersive setting. TEDActive lets you experience the entire TED2010 program with a smaller group, in an intimate atmosphere, with lots of extras. Last year's simulcast attendees called it "extraordinary," "transformative" and "beyond world-class."

A few things to know about TED2010 and TEDActive registration:

Only a limited number of TED registrations are available each year; they're granted at the discretion of the TED team based on a broad set of criteria aimed at ensuring a rich and stimulating exchange of ideas among a diverse group of peers.

• Standard registrations for TED2010 in Long Beach cost $6,000. A limited number of Reduced-Price memberships are made available each year for those in the education or nonprofit worlds, who could not otherwise attend. Registration for Reduced-Price memberships will open in the fall.
• Standard registrations for TEDActive cost $3,750. Registration details for these are above.
• A Standard TED2010 or TEDActive registration extends from March 15, 2009 to March 14, 2010. Benefits include attendance at the TED2010 Conference (Feb. 9-13, 2010), as well as five TED Book Club mailings, a set of DVDs archiving the TED2010 conference, online tools for social networking, and priority for 2011 registration.
